2011-2012 Application Process

We are still accepting 2011-2012 applications, and offers for this academic year will continue to be issued as space becomes available.

During the Fall and Winter sessions, only full-time graduate or second-entry professional faculty students at the University of Toronto are elegible for residency in Graduate House. Graduate House encourages prospective students to apply early in the year.

In order to apply for residency at Graduate House, please begin by downloading a 2011-2012 Application Form . Make sure that you read the instructions on the front very carefully before completing the signed application form and submitting it and the $100 application deposit to us.

Offers of residency will be made throughout the academice year as space becomes available.  Offers are made to eligible applicants based on the date on which their applications were received.

Completed application forms are placed on our Applicant List according to the date on which they were received. You are able to monitor the progress by checking out our on-line Applicant List. Each eligible applicant is sent a 4-digit code that identifies their application on the list while maintaining privacy. Updates to our Applicant List will be posted regularly as significant changes are made.

Successful applicants will be given a formal offer of residency and move-in date via e-mail. Once an offer has been accepted, successful applicants are required to submit a further $300 confirmation deposit in order to secure their space, and to complete a suitemate allocation questionnaire to assist in determining suitemate compatibility.

Please be aware that due to our very high occupancy rates, it is not possible to view your bedroom/suite prior to your move-in date. All assignments are confirmed the day before move-in and information as to your suite and suitemates is available upon your arrival. Questions?
