Each bedroom in Graduate House is equipted with a LAN (Ethernet) jack per occupant. It is the responsibility of the resident to equip thier computer with the requisite ethernet card and cable in order to use the network. Upon move-in, residents are asked to sign a Network Agreement form that stipulates the conditions of using the University of Toronto's network. Connection to our network is not possible without this signed agreement. Graduate House employs two network assistants who monitor and maintain our network. In addition, Graduate House has equipped most common rooms (on floors 4-9, and on the Courtyard level) with wireless hotspots, linking them to the University of Toronto's wireless network. This network is maintained by Information Commons at the Robarts Library. Unfortunately, non-U of T summer residents are not allowed access to the wireless network. |
