2009-2010 Recruitment Spaces at Graduate House |

Approximately 40% of Graduate House (181 spaces) is available each year to be awarded to students at the discretion of the various graduate departments, centres, institutes, and faculties. A further 20% of Graduate House (73 spaces) is allocated at the discretion of the six second-entry professional faculties: Law, Medicine, Dentistry, Education, Pharmacy, and Nursing. Most of these units have at least one recruitment space available to them, and larger units are given a proportionately larger number of potential spaces.
All recruitment spaces for 2010-2011 will be awarded by June 15, 2010 (July 14, 2010 for select second-entry professional faculties). Students who will be awarded a recruitment space at Graduate House for 2010-2011 will have to confirm their acceptance of that space by submitting a completed recruitment form along with a total of $400 in deposits (via certified cheque or money order in Canadian funds only). Any unused/unconfirmed recruitment spaces will revert back to Graduate House for use by our direct applicants.
Recruitment offers to Graduate House are for a period of one year, i.e. from September 2010 until August 29, 2011, though students have the option of reapplying directly to Graduate House for subsequent years. Please note that while receiving a recruitment space at Graduate House guarantees you a place in the residence for the upcoming academic year, it does not guarantee you a particular type of room (i.e. premium, single, or double). Your allocations will be based on availability and compatibility, the latter as determined by your Suitemate Allocation Questionnaire.
